About

My Financial Situation

Business has been great, i have managed it well and we were braking even about 6 months ago, which is relatively quick for a new business. We had built a small budget on the bank to keep us afloat of around 5000.00, that was a good amount as we don’t hold stock on parts we basically order what we need and customers pay either 100% or 50% up front. Our turnover was average 10000.00. Our home is mortgaged, my wife has also a business she does very well but i don’t want to ask her for help as this is my business and she has hers. But if worst became even worst we could definitely pay for the repayments of this loan if i asked her as her turnover is average 22000 per month. I currently have this financial problem because my wife made me go and visit her family in Europe for a month i said i didn’t want to go, and we should of stayed but she was going with the kids with or without me and i would have to help to pay whether i went or not, so i went, which meant i used my credit card for some expenses and tickets. while i was away it was winter months in was so there was basically no tourists, so internet side of business was slow, computer side of business was steady, but there was a major problem on our shops network so i had to help over the phone from Europe which end up costing me 3000.00 in roaming charges. So this is the start of my problems. I got back and had a slow month, managed to get most bills up to date somehow accept for mobile phone and rent. Rent has been late 1 week for past 3 months, and mobile i have made an arrangement to pay weekly amounts. Problem is once all these bills get paid we have literally nothing for investment on marketing or to rebuild a budget to prepare for slow business. To make matters worse last 3 weeks were dead, this week is picking up quite well but if i had to estimate monthly turnover based on last 3 weeks i wouldn’t make my minimum monthly turnover of 5000.00. i basically need to borrow money so i can get everything up to date and allow me some cushion to rebuild budget and grow business with more marketing, i realise i have made some mistakes which could of been avoided and probably not put me in this situation, but i accept these mistakes and think i have grown due to learning from these mistakes. Now i need the opportunity to get back on my feet and make my business the way it should be successful like it was previously. Thank you
