About

My Financial Situation

There are several reasons why I'm an excellent candidate for repaying this loan. I currently earn $3600 after tax a month My rates, power, water, insurances taken out of my account weekly amounts to $210. Living costs (we've been used to doing it hard, grow our own vegies, get free bread and milk, and buy local bulk meat from a farm, and have chooks for fresh eggs) which amounts to about $1000 a month. My regular mortgage repayment is $1050 a month (lately I have thrown an average of $800 a week at it) So along with one carton of beer a week and a packet of tobacco, we spend about $2500 a month. This leaves $1100 a month, plus my partner now has a regular income working from home of $200 a week. This default situation came about when my partner had to cover nursing her mother through terminal cancer, the medical bills and funeral. We just couldn't make 3 months of payments back from January through March. The rest of the time has been just trying to get it paid off but the default daily interest rate has been tough. So we have never been in a better situation financially, it's just getting this default paid off and rebuilding my credit rating I now need to do.
